How to spot a genuine Ibanez Talman TC-530 guitar
The photos you are viewing are all original parts. If your TC-530 doesn’t resemble this one, you have a ‘modified’ or inaccurately described Talman. There are two key differences between the TC-530 and all other models. 1. The bridge is a ‘block’ type. 2. The headstock is a sticker that covers the entire area (notice the sticker bulging around the machineheads). After the TC-530, the bridge block was changed, and the headstock sticker was removed.

Note the original Bridge. This block type was replaced on the later versions, but is one of the key features to tell a 1993/4 Talman from later models.

Talman TC530 body

This is my 1994 Talman which I’ve had since new.

This photo was take just after I pulled it out of the garage, hence it’s so dirty. I will take a new photo soon, but the entire headstock (front only) is s sticker.

Note the original Gotoh tuners
